Labasa beat Rewa

Defending New World National Soccer League champions - Vodafone Labasa have set the platform for the new season and have started their campaign on a winning note after beating the VIVA Rewa side by 2 goals to nil.

Labasa's first goal came from Navin Reddy - 44 minutes into the first half and the second goal came from Pita Boleitoga into the 42nd minute of the second half.

In another New World National Soccer League match played this afternoon the Southern Forest Navua side are leading the Swift Engineering Nasinu side by 4 goals to nil.

The match between the "V" Energy Nadi and the Power Electric Suva was postponed due to bad weather and officials will monitor the situation tomorrow to see if the game can be held.
