Police officer in custody

A police officer who is alleged to have been driving under the influence of alcohol is now under police custody in Nadi.

Police say the officer was arrested last night at Malolo Transmitter Road.

Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra said police officers should be leading by example and that disciplinary action will be initiated against the officer in question.
