Hit and run victim identified
Police have identified the man who lost his life in the hit and run incident on Sunday on Kings Road near the Kinoya traffic light.

According to police, the post mortem of the 42-year-old technician will be conducted today.

Police are still looking for both drivers in relation to this case.

Police Chief of Operations Rusiate Tudravu said the eyewitness could only identify a vehicle.

The man was walking towards the Kinoya traffic lights at around 1.30am Sunday where he was hit by the first car, a white taxi which dragged him 26 meters from the point of impact then made a u-turn before heading back towards Nausori.

The man was then hit by the second vehicle which made a u-turn and headed back toward Nausori.
