Alleged witchcraft students expected to be charged today
Two students allegedly involved in the witchcraft case in Savusavu are expected to be charged later today.

A man had filed a report on Saturday alleging that a group of youths dug up his elder brother's grave.

Two teams of police officers are involved in investigating the case.

It has been confirmed that one team is doing the investigation while the other is visiting the village where the incident occurred to ensure that there is no tension and rift between the two parties.

According to police this is the first complaint of this kind reported to the Savusavu police.

Investigations reveal that in November last year a 17 and a 19 year old dug up the grave of a 60 year old man who had died 4 years ago and took his skull out.

They later hid the skull under a tree away from the grave for the alleged purpose of witchcraft.

The skull is now with the Savusavu Police.
