Fiji FA will not delay National League
The Fiji Football Association will not delay the opening of the National soccer league competition next month despite damage sustained to sporting facilities in the Western Division.

Govind Park which is Fiji FA's property has sustained damage to the pavilions where parts of the roof have been blown away.

The damage is estimated to be around $1 million.

Churchill Park's main grandstand will also need repair as the roof has been partially damaged.

Garvey Park in Tavua has also sustained damage and will be closed for some time.

Meanwhile, two grounds in the Southern division are already closed for repair and upgrade which are Ratu Cakobau Park and the ANZ stadium.

Fiji FA said that the postponed Champion versus Champion match between Suva and Ba should take place early next month.
