Power expected from today
Power supply to most parts of Ba, Rakiraki and Tavua is expected to be restored from today according to the Fiji Electricity Authority.

In addition, the remaining 87% of the Nadi area is expected to have power restored today.

Elsewhere 65% of Labasa Town has power supply now while 29% of power has been restored in Sigatoka town and 25% in Lautoka city.

FEA works are continuing to restore power in the affected areas.

In the central division 25% of the place is still without power and according to FEA no time frame can be given as to when power will be resupplied.

Some areas are not receiving water supply due to no power supply.

FEA Chief Executive, Hasmukh Patel said they are following a plan but he cannot give a time frame for each area as yet.
