More than 200 students of Nabobuco District School in the highlanders of Naitasiri will now have a proper facility to use when having their lunch.
This is after a $8,500 dining hall was built which was funded by government.
School Manager Mesake Tamadra said the facility will be used by the 180 students who travel daily from nearby villagers.
Tamadra said before the students used to have their lunch under the trees.
He added that the school is also a boarding school which accommodates 50 students from the villages of Nasiriti, Roma and Nasoqo.
