The Divisional Traffic Officer Southern and his team is visiting houses around Kinoya and Caubati trying to gather information in relation to a fatal hit and run accident involving a man.
Police say the man was walking towards the Kinoya traffic lights at around 1.30am where he was hit by the first car, a white taxi which dragged him 26 meters from the point of intact then made a U-turn before heading back towards Nausori.
The man was then hit by the second vehicle which made a U-turn and headed back towards Nausori.
