2 taken to court for alleged water thefts
Two people have been taken to court by the Water Authority of Fiji for alleged water thefts.

Water Authority’s spokesperson Maika Nagalu said they are facing this major problem of illegal connections which usually arises when they disconnect the meters for nonpayment of bills.

Nagalu said people should pay their arrears rather than going to court and paying big fines.

He also said the public should report any illegal water connections.
