A number of students have shown keen interest in the media industry in Fiji and are enrolling for Certificate in Media and Journalism course this year despite the media decree.
Course co-ordinator ,Elia Vesikula say 25 students have enrolled for the course this year adding that majority of these students have completed form seven studies while other's have come from the media industry.
Vesikula also said some students are enrolling out of interest while some have shown genuine commitment and passion for the media industry and saw it as a career.
He added that there are also plans to introduce Bachelor of Mass Media in future.
