No power and water in some parts of Ba
Some supermarkets in Ba Town are currently open however there is no power and water supply.

A resident of Votua, Renu said some people are shopping mainly for canned food and supermarkets are using generators to provide services.

She said all the other shops are closed.

Meanwhile, according to Renu, two houses in her area had their roofs blown away into the canefields however the owners managed to collect the corrugated iron sheets and repair their houses.

She said many FEA posts which fell on the road have been cleared and buses have started providing services.

She said luckily this time they did not come across flooding as Votua is a flood prone area.

She said people are now moving on with their lives however they would appreciate quick restoration of power and water in Ba.
