Soldiers, prison inmates part of major clean-up campaign
Soldiers and prison inmates are part of the major clean-up campaign underway in the northern and western division.

RFMF Commander Operations Lieutenant Colonel Amani Suliano said they will assist in whatever way possible to restore normalcy and help families.

He added that four hundred soldiers are in the western division and another 130 are up in the north.

Meanwhile 137 inmates from Suva, Natabua and Ba prisons are also joining in the cleanup efforts. 

Permanent Secretary for Information, Sharon Smith Johns said all Fijians from all walks of life have been putting in their best efforts to get the most affected areas to its feet.
