FRU backs Male after disastrous performances
The Fiji Rugby Union stands by Flying Fijians coach Inoke Male despite the team’s disastrous performance so far.

Fiji suffered a 54-12 thrashing from England before going down to English club Gloucester 31-29 and a 53-nil humiliating defeat by Ireland A yesterday.

FRU Chairman Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said they are confident coach Male will stay because he has a three year contract and he stands by their performance.

Tikoitoga also said the $2 million for this tour is worth it as they took 18 local players.

Fiji will play its last game against Georgia at 12am this Sunday.
