More than $5,000 has been recovered by police following a daring robbery on Monday afternoon where a salesperson was robbed of $86,000 in Nabua.
The three people alleged to be involved in the daring daylight robbery in Nabua remain in custody.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu says charges against the suspects are also expected to be laid soon.
Meanwhile the three suspects robbed the victim at Nand’s Mall car park in Nabua after threatening the victim with a kitchen knife.
The suspects then fled in a taxi which was later abandoned in Nabua.
Once again Police are reminding business operators that officers are available to provide security when transporting large sums of money.
