The fate of two Lautoka doctors who were suspended after the death of a woman will be decided this week.
The Health Ministry has confirmed that necessary investigations have been conducted and a report will be finalized soon.
Permanent Secretary Eloni Tora confirmed earlier that two doctors were suspended as a result of the death of a patient following surgery at Lautoka hospital.
He also assured the public that patient safety is paramount at all hospitals and the Ministry is fully committed to the health and well being of those entrusted to its care.
