Free ride for passengers if E-ticketing machine malfunctions
Bus drivers will have to drop passengers mainly students to their destination for free if the E-ticketing Machine does not work.

Director for Foneology, James Trusler said drivers cannot deny any student the right to travel to school if the machine is not working.

Trusler said they are providing training again to the drivers after receiving complaints of sabotage of the machines and many times when they went to check, the machines were in working condition.

Meanwhile, LTA CEO Naisa Tuinaceva said they are in the enforcement period and are talking to the drivers about the issue.

It has already been revealed that if the machines are not working, then people will travel for free.

The onus is on the bus operator to ensure that the machines work.
