Flood waters enter Navua Health Center

Some patients admitted at the Navua Health Center have had to be shifted to the top floor after the flood waters entered the center few hours ago.

Earlier tonight, the Navua River near the health center broke its banks and about 2 feet of water over spilled on the road.

Yesterday some patients from Navua were transferred to CWM hospital.

Meanwhile, police confirmed that flood water is slowly receding in Navua.

About 17 people are taking shelter in different evacuation centers in Navua.
