Houses damaged in Lautoka
About 50 houses in Saweni, Lautoka sustained major damages last night due to strong winds.

One of those affected, Navin Prasad said residents in their area had prepared well for the cyclone however could not save anything.

 
Prasad is currently sheltering in the neighborhood with his mother, wife and daughter.

Nadi:

A staff nurse at the Nadi Hospital said from early this morning they have not had any rain and winds have calmed down to moderate levels.

Coral Coast:

Outrigger on the Lagoon staff member Claire Steele said the weather has improved significantly from early this morning, and they now are experiencing moderate winds and there have been no rain.
