Tropical Cyclone Evan is slowly moving away from the country and the weather conditions are expected to improve from midday today according to the Nadi Weather Office.
Speaking to Fijivillage in the last hour Nadi Weather Office Duty Forecaster, Terry Atalifo said as of midnight TC Evan is located south west of Viti Levu and moving away at 18km/hr.
A flood warning is now in force for low lying areas downstream from Nayavu village through Wailotua village and along the Wainibuka River.

Lautoka is still experiencing some rain and occasional very strong winds according to the Lomolomo community post.
Nadi:
Alvish of Navokai said they are still experiencing occasion rainfall and strong winds.
Coral Coast:
Speaking to Fijivillage in the last hour, Hideaway Resort Guest Relations Manager Ranadi Bolawaqatabu said there has not been any significant change in weather this morning, with occasional rain, and strong gusty winds at times.
