Bus services will resume today but only in the central and eastern division.
Land Transport Authority Acting Spokesperson, Alfred Wiliame confirms they have liaised with the Fiji Bus Operators Association on this matter and decided bus services to be provided to the public from later this morning in the central and eastern areas as the weather is clearing up.
In addition Fiji Bus Operators Association General Secretary, Rohit Latchan said bus drivers in the central eastern areas are requested to report to work.
Latchan said services will be provided in the areas where roads are clear and safe for buses to go.
However, he added bus services in the northern and western divisions are expected to resume later in the week as the damages and road conditions have to be taken into account.
