Nadi Town remains closed

Nadi Town remains closed with police currently patrolling the area.

Nadi Town Council CEO Nemia Tagi said Nadi was badly hit by Cyclone Evan.

He said major damages have been caused to shops, houses and infrastructure.

Tagi said this has also caused blackouts throughout Nadi which may take a while to restore with some areas also facing water disruptions.
