In a third separate incident this week a fifth remand prisoner that escaped the St Giles Hospital yesterday at 1pm has surrendered himself back to the hospital this morning.
31 year old Antonio Boleyasi of Levuka was admitted at St Giles hospital for treatment.
It is alleged that Boleyasi escaped after he was released to have lunch at the mess hall.
Elsewhere, the four remand prisoners who escaped from two different police custodies are still on the run.
ACP Rusiate Tudravu has warned the escapees that they will be found by police.
Speaking to Fijivillage today, Tudravu said that they have already sent a team to investigate on how three of them escaped from the Nadi Police station on Tuesday evening and that they will be revealing the outcome soon.
Tudravu is calling on the public to assist police in their recapture efforts and telling the four on the run to give themselves in.
As the search continues for the escapees, members of the public are being asked to be patient as check points is being erected throughout the search operation.
