Mini markets expected in Suva

Mini markets expected in Suva
Expect mini markets to be opened around Suva to cater for people selling along footpaths.

Suva City council Special Administrator Chandu Umaria said that this is after the council started to remove these hawkers because they were taking up most of the footpath space.

According to Umaria they will build new mini markets at Samabula, Suva Point and Walu Bay.

He added that none will be constructed in the City because there is not enough space.
