After being crowned the sprint king of the 2013 Coca-Cola Games, Beniamino Maravu’s milestone achievement will reunite the old scholars of Saint Bedes College.
An ex-scholar Pio Baleicoqe who spent his last year in Saint Bedes in 2004 said after Maravu’s achievement, he decided to release their school song as a tribute to Beniamino Maravu.
The song will be playing on our sister station Viti FM.
In the senior boy’s 200 meters, Maravu took gold, Suva Grammar’s Kemueli Waqa took silver while Sailosi Niuvati of Natabua High took bronze.
Maravu also won the 100 metres senior boys final and is the first athlete from Saint Bedes College to win these major events.
