Man dies in house fire

A man has perished in a house fire in Nadi yesterday afternoon.

National Fire Authority CEO John O’Connor confirmed the man who is believed to be partially paralyzed was alone in the house as his family members were out.

He said they are working with police to find out more about the man.

O’Connor said preliminary investigations show the fire started from the kitchen.
