More than 12 houses blown away in Lautoka
More than 12 families in Naviyago, Lautoka have lost all their belongings after hurricane force winds either blew their houses away or blew the roofs of their houses.

A resident Vinal Naidu said out of the 18 houses in the area, only five houses are standing while his whole house blew away. 

He said all the belongings are on the ground getting wet and they have no option. 

He said many families have lost all their electrical appliances and all their clothes are wet.

He said the wind is so strong that it pushed many cars into the cane fields. 

He saidall the FEA posts in the area are on the ground.

Naidu and other families are taking shelter at a neighbours= houses.
