Rewa River rises

The Rewa river level is also rising according to the Ministry of Information.

Residents living along the banks of Rewa River and in low lying areas in Rewa are advised to move to high ground immediately.

According to Rymond in Nasali settlement, Rewa has been experiencing heavy rain and strong winds late this afternoon.

Rymond said that they have difficulties monitoring the water level as they are facing power cuts.
