Investigations continue in relation to the accident involving two vehicles at Veisari, Lami yesterday afternoon.
Police say the passenger who was rushed to the hospital did not sustain serious injuries.
According to police at the scene, the vehicle which was traveling from Suva to Nadi allegedly overtook another vehicle and hit the oncoming vehicle.
The other vehicle traveling toward Suva tumbled and landed on the side of the road.
