The man who allegedly fatally stabbed a mother of four in Naisaumua Village, Verata, Tailevu last week is still on the run.
Police have identified the suspect as Sailasa Mociu.
It is alleged that Mociu has been involved in the murder of the 33-year-old woman of Naisaumua Village.
The woman was allegedly stabbed on a small bridge and then pushed into the water.
According to a villager, the man had been released from prison two weeks before Christmas.
