Over 200 people in evacuation centers in the North
More than 200 people are already in evacuation centers in the Northern division to prevent being caught up by bad weather in the last minute.

Divisional Northern Planning Officer, Alipate Bola said these people have been advised to move while it’s still daylight and not wait for things to worsen.

Bola said their district team and divisional team are keeping a track of the weather update and taking necessary steps accordingly.

These people are currently in Navatuvula Primary School, Wainika and Volivoli Primary schools which have been opened as evacuation centers.

Bola added currently it is just cloudy around their area with occasional showers.
