Shore Buses welcomes e-ticketing decision by govt
Shore Buses Limited welcomes the decision by Government to open the e-ticketing market to other solution providers.

Shore Buses director Jasper Singh said he is ready to look at the various options that will now be available.

Singh added that Shore Buses will have e-ticketing machines installed within the next three months.

Meanwhile people in the Central and Eastern Division will be able to buy the Vodafone $2 e-ticketing cards until the end of this month.

Digicel Fiji also said it is now in a position to formally engage with bus operators and looks forward to doing so in the coming days.

Digicel Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Maurice McCarthy added that the move will result in a better grade of service at a competitive price.

According to McCarthy the company is also looking at different card options to determine how they can make it more affordable for customers in the short, medium and long term.
