Hayne relishes chance on NSW wing
“Playing wing for NSW is like playing an NRL game at fullback.”

Those were the words of former Fiji Bati fullback and New South Wales winger Jarryd Hayne who will play this year’s State of Origin opener with question marks hanging over his efforts for the Eels.

Hayne is in camp with the Blues and is looking forward to the free reign he is given from the wing a position from which he twice won the Brad Fittler Medal as NSW player of the series.

The first round between Blues and Queensland is on the 23rd of this month.
