Classed as the world’s best Sevens coach, Gordon Teitjens is in Fiji to secure his future team.
Teitjens has left his core players back in New Zealand for the IRB Sevens Series but has brought players that will play for New Zealand in years to come.
Teitjens said it is an opportunity for him to come to Fiji and look at these new young players and one of them is Setareki Tamanivalu who is likely to wear the black jumper.
Teitjens said there will be no easy games at the Uprising Fiji International Sevens tournament.
The New Zealand Sevens Emerging team will play its first match against the Uprising Sevens team which has players like Metuisela Talebula and Avenisi Vasuinubu.
