Twenty families in the island of Cikobia in Macuata are currently preparing for the Tropical Cyclone Evan.
Cikobia island is one of the areas in the Northern Division which is to begin preparations and to remain on alert, as the cyclone is expected to impact the North first before it continues on its path.
A villager of Cikobia, Elia Sauvou said a total of 109 people, after listening to the warning, have already begun preparation.
