The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the Namosi Joint Venture has been currently put on hold due to some environment damage for rehabilitation to take place.
Director of Mineral Development Malakai Finau said that the assessment started with all the stakeholders for the development of all terms of reference for the environment impact assessment.
Finau said that they have been facing some problems with the company and the landowners.
Finau added that if various stakeholders did not agree with the results of the Impact Assessment, the Namosi Joint Venture will not operate.
