Every point counts

Every point counts
“Every point counts in the game of rugby.”

Those are the words of Flying Fijians coach Invoke Male and that is one of the reasons he has called in Nadroga first five-eighth Jonetani Ralulu and Fiji 7s playmaker Metuisela Talebula.

Ralulu and Talebula were members of the Fiji Warriors team for the Pacific Rugby Cup and both players displayed a good kicking game during the tournament.

Ralulu had a 100 percent goal kicking record during the PRC and his inclusion can improve the goal kicking area.

Last week against Samoa, Fiji failed to score 13 points after Setareki Koroilagilagi missed three penalties and two conversions which coach Male believes could have won them the game.

Male said his intention is clear on why Ralulu and Talebula were called in.
