A representative of the group known as United Front for a Democratic Fiji Attar Singh said they do not expect Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum to change their stance easily on the draft constitution.
Singh made this comment following the stance maintained by Commodore Bainimarama that the Yash Ghai Commission draft constitution will not come back.
Singh claimed that the draft constitution prepared by the government is unacceptable and will only benefit them.
However, Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the group has personalized the issue and the draft holds everyone accountable.
Sayed-Khaiyum said the United Front for a Democratic Fiji is welcome to make submissions.
