Senior citizens entitled to new Social Pension Scheme

Senior citizens who are 70 years and older and are living with dependents are entitled to the new Social Pension Scheme.

Permanent Secretary for Social Welfare Govind Sami said the only condition is that the person must not be a member of any superannuation fund.
