39 typhoid cases confirmed in Nanokoko Village

39 typhoid cases have been confirmed in the village of Nanokoko in Ba.

Ministry of Health Spokesperson, Peni Namotu said movement and social gatherings in the area is restricted with officials monitoring the situation and health inspectors on site.

The 39 typhoid patients are recovering at the Bukuya Health Centre.
