Winner of Diwali Dress Competition gets $300

Eight year old Paulini Mariatarau of Qauia has been announced as our sister station Viti FM’s Diwali Dress-up Competition winner today walking away with $300.

Last year, Mariatarau also took part in the competition but finished as the third runner-up.

Her dress is made up of items portraying the different cultures in the country.

Viti FM Programs Director Malakai Veisamasama said this is the third year of the promotion and interest has increased significantly from last year. He added that the Competition is organized to promote harmony and a better understanding amongst the different races in the country.
