“I will just try and break the 10-year-old senior boys high jump record.”
This is the sentiment shared by defending Coca-Cola Games high jump champion Sikeli Waqa of Marist Brothers High School.
Waqa won gold last year after jumping his personal best of 2.05m, just 4 centimeters short of the record set by our sister station FM96 breakfast show host Antonio Rahiman in 2003.
He said he is determined to break the record.
Meanwhile, the Coke Games will be held this Thursday and Friday at the ANZ stadium.
