For the first time a Fiji police Force delegation dominated by female officers will leave for South Sudan tomorrow as part of ongoing peace keeping missions.
Police Commissioner Brigadier General Iowane Naivalurua said that five female officers will be representing the organization and will be deployed for a one year period which they are truly proud of.
The UN wants to see at least 20% of women deployed in UN missions.
