Police have deployed a special team to hunt for the man in other divisions who allegedly stabbed a woman in Naisaumua Village, Verata Tailevu on Wednesday who died later.
Director CID Vakacegu Toduadua said that they have extended their operation to the western division after interviewing family members of the suspect.
Police have the identity of the suspect as they are working on leads to arrest him.
The mother of four was allegedly stabbed on a small bridge and then pushed into the water.
