The Fiji Sports Council has been given the go ahead to stage the Fiji Games at the ANZ Stadium this weekend and the Coca-Cola Games next week.
Sports Council Chief Executive Officer Litiana Loabuka said they have been working overtime to have everything ready.
Loabuka added the proper checks have been done and they are happy with the results.
Loabuka also said the Coca-Cola Games will go ahead as scheduled.
Meanwhile, the new ANZ Stadium will be tested tonight with the athletics competition of the Fiji Games.
The men’s 5000 metres runners will be the first to test out the new tracks.
This will be followed by the men’s and women’s 100, 200, 400 metres heats and the 800 metres final.
