Hunt continues for the man who allegedly stabbed a woman in Naisaumua Village, Verata, Tailevu yesterday, who died later.
Director CID Vakacegu Toduadua said the postmortem was conducted yesterday.
Police have the identity of the suspect as they are working on leads to arrest him.
Toduadua added they have also interviewed a number of residents of the village.
The mother of four was allegedly stabbed on a small bridge and then pushed into the water.
