Samisoni and co-accused appear in court
Suva businesswoman Mere Samisoni, Apete Vereti and Semisi Lasike appeared before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili today charged with urging political violence.

The case is adjourned to be heard in two weeks time and a hearing date is expected to be fixed for the three.

The case will be recalled on the 25th of this month.

The three deny urging political violence and were alleged to have urged one Waisea Kaloumaira to burn the city of Suva in December, 2011.

It is alleged that the three between the months of September and December 2011, in Suva intentionally conspired to overthrow by force of violence the Government of Fiji.
