Laser lights aimed at pilots while landing
Complaints have been received by Airports Fiji Limited from pilots that laser lights in areas around Nausori Airport has been deliberately aimed at them while landing.

AFL has raised concern this may lead to blinding of the air crew which will lead to accidents.

This is the fourth report from Nausori while one has been reported from Nasoso in Nadi.

The latest incident reported that the light source was coming from Muana Village Toga, Rewa.

Police say this practice is a breach of the Air Navigation Regulations and will not be condoned.
