Labasa soccer team out to secure Emblem
The Labasa soccer team is trying to secure the services of former Waitakere United coach Neil Emblem to guide them in the Pacific Tournament in Auckland this month.

Emblem coached the All Whites to the Olympics this year and is currently on tour with the New Zealand soccer team.

Labasa Football Association Secretary Nilesh Lal said talks are currently underway and they are still awaiting confirmation.

Meanwhile, Labasa first choice goal keeper Akuila Mataisuva has been ruled out of the tournament because of injury.

Labasa is in Group B with Nadi, Waitakere United and New Zealand Nasinu.

The Pacific Cup tournament is scheduled to be played from the 20th to the 24th of this month.
