Xavier College out to create history
Xavier College will be out to create history yet again in this year's Coca Cola Games.

Last year the Ba based school stole the show in the Intermediate boys high jump where Malakai Kaiwalu became the first athlete in the history of the Games to jump a height of two meters in the Intermediate grade.

Kaiwalu broke the old record set by FM 96's breakfast show host Antonio Rahiman of 1.96 meters.

Xavier coach Abdul Shah said Kaiwalu is no longer with the school as he has joined a tertiary institution.

Shah added there are other athletes who can fill Kaiwalu's shoes.

Xavier College finished third in the overall boys division last year with 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.

The Coca Cola Games will be held next Thursday and Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
