Waqa’s try helps Storm win

In his first game of the season after a hand injury, Melbourne Storm winger Sisa Waqa scored a try as the Storm escaped with a 26-12 victory over the West Tigers

Both teams were locked 6-all at halftime but tries to Storm captain Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Sisa Waqa was enough to give them the victory.

The defending champions now lead the NRL points table with 10 points followed by the Rabbitohs, Eagles and the Knights.
